Hello! I'm thrilled to be running the 2024 Chicago Marathon in support of Special Olympics Chicago!

I have wanted to run Chicago since I was in 7th grade, when I watched my mom cross the finish line. That dream only grew stronger in college, when running deepened my friendships and community. To my family and friends viewing this page, I absolutely could not do this without you.

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide athletic training and competition for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In my life, special recreation is a lifelong source of joy. Since elementary school, I have sought out spaces of inclusion in and out of the classroom. My time spent with Glenbrook South Peer Mentors and the Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) were highlights of my high school experience. My time spent with the Campus School at Boston College gifted me relationships that I will treasure forever. These organizations bring together unforgettably spirited people driven by inclusuion and acceptance. Running in the spirit of inclusion fills my heart to the brim!

I have committed to raise $2,300 to fund trainings, programs, and competitions for Special Olympics. I could not be more grateful to run for such a meaningful mission. Running in my home city is icing on the cake! Thank you to all who are reading this, and thank you to all who can donate. Let's do this!
