On October 13, I will be running the Chicago Marathon on behalf of the Special Olympics Chicago. Since I was young, sports have been a fundamental aspect of who I am, and some of my fondest childhood memories are moments that I spent with my teammates competing. It's a privilege to be able to connect with people through sports and physical activity is instrumental in spreading a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and joy.
I am so honored to be running my 3rd! Marathon on behalf of the Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children's Charities.Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.
