Hi! My name is Abby White. I'm an avid runner and advocate for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
I fell in love with running during college while studying abroad. Initially, I used running as a way to explore the countries I traveled to while meeting new people... Fast forward four years later, and I'm still hooked! The joy I find in running long distances with the people I love is a feeling I can't put into words. Although this isn't my first marathon, this is my first Abbott Major World Marathon. My goal is to run all 6 international major world marathons in the next few years!
Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.
I hope you will consider making a donation to support the Special Olympics mission.
If you wish to make a donation via check instead of of donating through my online dashboard, please send to the address below and they will credit the donation to my fundraising page. Please make sure to include my name (or the person you would like to support) in the memo section.
Please make all checks payable to Special Children's Charities. No donation is too small!
