I will be running the Chicago Marathon on October 13th to raise money for Special Olympics Chicago. As a former Special Olympics team coach myself, I have seen firsthand the positive impact that sports can have on the lives of people. Sports not only provide an opportunity for physical activity and competition, but they also help to build confidence, social skills, and a sense of community.
