Hello!
If you've made it this far, you probably already know my story. If not, here's a little about me!
I am a former Chicago Public Schools special education teacher and a huge supporter of Special Olympics' mission. This is my third Chicago marathon and my fourth marathon overall, and I am incredibly proud to be part of the Special Olympics Chicago team.
Having worked with individuals with disabilities in Chicago for the past 8+ years, I can assure you that your donation will make a difference in the lives of those in my community. No donation is too small, and all support is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to donate, thank you for checking out my page and supporting me with thoughts and encouragement!
I believe connecting people through sports and physical activity is instrumental in spreading a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and joy. Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children's Charities is working to create a more inclusive Chicago... one mile at a time!
Team Special Olympics Chicago is a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and I am proud to be a member of this team.
I hope that you consider supporting my efforts, and I am so grateful for your devoted support to our life-changing mission.
If you wish to make a donation via check, please send it to the address below and they will credit the donation to my fundraising page. Please make sure to include my name (or the person you would like to support) in the memo section.
Please make all checks payable to Special Children's Charities.
