Hi, I’m Michael, and I’m thrilled to be running in the Chicago Marathon to support a cause close to my heart: the Special Olympics for the second time!
This cause is deeply personal to me because of my wife’s aunt, Mary, who had an intellectual disability. Mary was always a joy to be around (except when McDonald’s was closed or Elvis wasn’t playing in the car). Her spirit inspires me to support and advocate for these amazing athletes.
While I might not be the fastest runner, I’m determined to cross that finish line again and raise significant funds for the Special Olympics. This incredible organization provides year-round sports training and athletic competitions for individuals with intellectual disabilities, making a profound impact on their lives.
I would be immensely grateful if you could support my Chicago Marathon fundraiser for the Special Olympics. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference and means the world to me and the athletes I’m supporting.
We raised $1,800 last year! Can we get to $2,000?!
