My Story

I have decided to participate in the Chicago marathon this year and run for the Special Olympics. My goal is to raise $1500 by race day and to break 3 hours in the race. I have been an avid runner for the past decade and believe it is important for everyone to get the opportunity to be active and involved in competition, no matter the level.

The Special Olympics is an organization that provides an opportunity for those with disabilities to compete in a variety of sporting events, build confidence and develop friendships. My brother has enjoyed partcipating in the swimming and track events.

Over half a million people participate in the Special Olympics across the country, so I ask that you support me by donating to this great cause!

Should donors wish to make a donation via check, those contributions can be sent to the address below and will be credited to the page. Please make sure to include somewhere in the memo section or on a note, my name and the fundraiser.
