I’m running the Chicago Marathon—for a cause that’s bigger than the finish line.
This will be my 8th marathon and 4th World Major, and while each race is a personal test of endurance and willpower, this time it’s about more than just proving something to myself. I’m running to raise funds for the Special Children's Charities.
charities that support children with special needs—kids who face physical, emotional, and developmental challenges every single day with strength and spirit that inspire me far more than any race ever could.
Since 1969, Special Children’s Charities has been the driving force behind inclusion and empowerment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Chicago.
I’d be so grateful if you could be part of this journey with me. No amount is too small. Every donation brings us one step closer to making a difference.
I’ll be posting regular updates here as training ramps up, and of course, on race day too. Thank you for your support, your kindness, and for cheering me on in this run—for them.
