Longtime fans may remember when I finished the Los Angeles Marathon in 2024 and declared: "that was the worst experience of my life, I will never run another marathon." Well, I'm running another marathon.
This October, I will be joining the Special Children's Charities Team for the Chicago Marathon. Since 1969, Special Children’s Charities has been the driving force behind inclusion and empowerment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Chicago. They support thousands of participants in all 77 Chicago neighorhoods. As a resident of the Chicagoland area, I'm so excited to be supporting a charity that directly impacts and supports this community.
