I am thrilled to share that I will be running a marathon for the second time to raise funds for a cause that is very close to my heart: Special Children’s Charities. Since 1969, this incredible organization has been the driving force behind inclusion and empowerment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Chicago.

Special Children’s Charities aims to transcend boundaries and redefine possibilities by serving as a symbol of empowerment and inclusivity within both the disability community and the City of Chicago. The spirit of accomplishment, inclusion, and joy that are part of the marathon experience are what we strive to provide for thousands of our participants in all 77 Chicago neighborhoods.

Having experienced the joy and fulfillment of running for this cause before, I am even more motivated this year to make a difference. With your help, we can create a more inclusive Chicago—one mile at a time. Your support will make a significant impact on the lives of many, helping to foster a community where everyone feels valued and included.
