Since 1969, Special Children’s Charities has been a beacon of inclusion and empowerment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Chicago. I know how important it is to have a community that embraces every individual’s potential. My brother, Cole, who was born in Chicago and has Down syndrome, is a daily reminder of how much progress we’ve made and how far we still have to go in building a truly inclusive world.

Special Children’s Charities is dedicated to breaking down barriers and redefining what is possible for people like Cole. Their work in empowering individuals and fostering inclusivity in the City of Chicago touches countless lives, and it’s an honor to support this cause through my participation in the Chicago Marathon.
