I’m excited to be running with Team Special Children’s Charities, an organization that has been a driving force for inclusion and empowerment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Chicago since 1969.

This cause is incredibly close to my heart. My younger brother is diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorder, and I've seen how important it is for all children—regardless of their abilities or where they come from—to feel supported, included, and empowered.

Special Children’s Charities embodies that mission. Their work creates opportunities for thousands of participants across all 77 neighborhoods in Chicago, helping foster a city where joy, accomplishment, and inclusivity are accessible to everyone.

For me, this marathon is more than just a race—it’s a way to give back to a community that has shaped so much of my life. With every mile, I’m proud to help build a more inclusive Chicago, one step at a time.
