This October, I’ll be running the Chicago Marathon as part of Team Special Children’s Charities, the fundraising arm of Special Olympics Chicago. I’m running to support programs that provide children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to discover new strengths, build confidence, and experience the joy of sport and community.
Every dollar raised goes directly toward year-round athletic, recreational, and educational programs — helping more than 7,500 athletes in Chicago.
