Since 1969, Special Children’s Charities has been the driving force behind inclusion and empowerment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Chicago. 

Depuis 1969, Special Children's Charities est la force motrice de l'inclusion et de l'autonomisation des enfants et adultes ayant des troubles intellectuels et de developpement dans tout Chicago.

For those who don't know my story, I arrived in Chicago in September 2025. I fell in love with the city and discovered it thanks to running. My main soucre of motivation has always been to challeng emyself in any form ( go live on the other side of the world, write a book, overcome my shyness, meet strangers,...). My 2025 challenge is to surpass myself physically, exceeded the limits that I thought impossible. Running a marathon is my goal but everyone has their own challenges. What is yours ?

Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas mon histoire, je suis arrivee a Chicago en septembre 2025. Je suis tombee amoureuse de la ville et je l'ai decouverte en partie grace a la course a pied. Ma source principale de motivation a toujours etait de me challenger sous toute forme (partir vivre de l'autre cote de l'ocean, ecrire un livre, vaincre ma timidite, faire un saut en parachute, rencontrer des inconnus,...). Mon challenge de 2025 et de me surpasser physiquement, depasser les limites que je penser impossible. Courir un marathon est mon objectif mais chacun a ses propres challenges. Quel est le votre ? 

Now, let's think about all those who have even harder limits to push! Around me, I have my family, my friends, the people I meet every day who support me and my adventures. But they do it beause I also support all of them, but today especially, Special Children's Charities who helps all those person who need it. And you, are you ready to help us ?

Maintenant, pensons a tous ceux qui ont des limites encore plus dure a pousser! Autour de moi, j'ai ma famille, mes amis, les gens que je rencontre tous les jours, qui me soutiennent dans mes aventures. Je soutiens egalement autour de moi. Mes amis, ma famille et les inconnus mais aujourd'hui particulierement, Special Children's Charities qui aide toutes ces personnes qui en ont besoin. Et toi, es-tu pret a nous aider ?
