Physical activity and team sports have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. From running and training to being part of a team, those experiences have shaped who I am — teaching me discipline, resilience, and the joy of working toward something bigger than myself.
That’s why running the Chicago Marathon for Special Children’s Charities means so much to me. This organization gives children with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience the same sense of accomplishment, community, and joy that I’ve been lucky enough to find through sports and distance running.
With every mile I run, I’m raising money to support programs that create those opportunities for kids all over Chicago. I am running in an effort to build a more inclusive community — one that celebrates every athlete, every goal, and every possibility.
If you wish to make a donation via check, please send to the address below and they will credit the donation to my fundraising page. Please make sure to include my name (or the person you would like to support) in the memo section.
Please make all checks payable to Special Children's Charities.
