Being a dad to Oriana, my beatiful and happy special needs kid, makes me a believer that connecting people through sports and physical activity is instrumental in spreading a culture of inclusion, acceptance, and joy. Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children's Charities is working to create a more inclusive Chicago... one mile at a time!

That's why year-over-year - as long as I am healthy - I join Team Special Olympics Chicago Marathon, a group of runners dedicated to supporting thousands of Chicagoans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  I am proud to be a member of this team, so that through our efforts we can bring needed athetic activites to Chicago kids - like for my beatiful Oriana!
