I feel a personal connection to the children in Haiti. They are innocent victims of systemic racism, greed, inhumanity and natural disasters. They deserve to have better lives.

On Saturday, November 11 2023, I will do my part by joining hundreds of volunteers at the Teaneck Packathon for Haiti 2023 to pack 70,000 meals for school children in Haiti. We will pack at Hope Presbyterian Church, 1190 River Road in Teaneck, New Jersey. There will be 3 packing sessions: 9-11am, 12-2 pm 3-5 pm . We will also be fund raising to buy the ingredients for the meals and money for the local provisions to cover meals for five days a week!!

We plan to provide reliable, nutritious, daily lunches the entire 2024 year for the 600 children in the two schools that we support.

We will need to raise $50,000 for the food, shipping and delivery to the two villages. I am making it my personal goal to raise $1,000.
