G'day friends and family!

In just 2 days' time, I will be racing up the face of Grouse Mountain, Vancouver, as part of the 2019 Tech Grind.

Why? 

Being blessed with 3 pretty cool siblings, I was fortunate enough to experience a safe, happy and memorable childhood; which also meant I never had to face the world alone.

My team from RED Academy and I are racing against/alongside the likes of MT, Hootsuite & Deloitte, to raise money for United Way’s School’s Out Program which provides healthy, safe, educational activities for vulnerable elementary students.

School's Out makes constructive use of at-risk kids' time outside of school, with activities to develop self-confidence and self-esteem, and strengthen positive social skills and lifestyles.

I may not win the prize for fastest up the mountain, but this will be my first time conquering "Mother Nature's Stairmaster" -- and oh boy, do I love first times.
