After Olivia's diagnosis in April 2023, the foundation made an immediate and direct impact on our lives. I asked if they would be willing to offer in-person Seizure Awareness and First Aid Training to our family and friends, to which I received an immediate YES! Olivia also had the unbeatable experience of Camp Spike N Wave during the summer of 2023 (and again in 2024 and 2025), which was exactly what she needed to adjust to her new diagnosis and know that she isn't alone. The Epilepsy Foundation offers Camp Spike N Wave to all kiddos at no cost - and through fundraising opportunities just like this.
