Texas 4000’s mission is to cultivate student leaders and engage communities in the fight against cancer.
I'm raising money to bike from Austin to Alaska with Texas 4000 for Cancer
I was inspired to join Texas 4000 for Cancer to continue the journey and memory of my uncle, who passed away from kidney cancer when I was ten years old. His passion for building friendships and making a difference through sport motivated me to engage with communities and travel with purpose. His legacy drives my commitment to the fight against cancer. More recently, my mom’s diagnosis with multiple myeloma gave me a deeper understanding of the hardships patients face, further strengthening my determination to contribute to this cause. This journey is a chance not only to support my loved ones who are battling and have battled cancer but also to make a tangible difference in the cancer community. The mission is about empowering others and creating lasting change. Your support goes beyond fundraising; it fuels real impact. Together, we can amplify research, strengthen support systems, and offer hope to those affected by this relentless disease. I invite you to join me on this mission, striving for a future where cancer’s grip weakens.
