My Uncle Gerry lost his battle against cancer on June 23rd, 2023. Looking back, I never seriously considered the prospect of Uncle Gerry’s death because he was always so full of life. Even as his condition worsened, he maintained his ability to light up a room with his witty jokes and contagious laughter. You could always find Uncle Gerry sitting in a lawn chair at the edge of the lake, resting his feet in the water, enjoying the day.
I am participating in T4K so that I can contribute to the development of novel cancer therapies that can be used to treat people like Uncle Gerry, people who have so much more life to give. I hope that you will consider joining me in this ongoing battle against cancer. After all, this is a battle that cannot be fought alone. Let’s do it!
