Cancer has touched the lives of many people I’ve been honored to know. My family, neighbors, teachers, and peers alike have been warriors in their battle, and I have seen the physical, mental, and emotional impacts cancer leaves on everyone involved. I chose Texas 4000 to empower the strength, courage, and resilience of anyone affected by cancer as I embark on a journey to Alaska. Our mission is to “cultivate student leaders and engage communities in the fight against cancer,” which makes me eager to grow in my own humility and responsibility while forming meaningful friendships. With your support and financial contributions, we will be working together to raise money for cancer research and support services.
