Losing my grandpa to melanoma at a young age ignited my passion for fighting cancer. His loss fueled my desire to extend support to others facing similar challenges, leading me to Texas 4000 for Cancer. I was drawn to this organization because of its mission to cultivate student leaders in the fight against cancer. Through this 18-month journey, I aim to develop leadership skills, gain confidence in public speaking, and work collaboratively to support people fighting cancer and cancer survivors. Your support will facilitate these aspirations and allow me to reach these personal growth milestones as well as drive positive change in cancer research and support services.
