Hello! My name is Elizabeth Suh, and I'm a fourth year Biochemistry major with a minor in Chinese language. I'm from Austin, TX, and outside of Texas 4000 I like to run, play piano and oboe, and try new boba and coffee shops! Thank you for taking the time to read this page and learn more about Texas 4000!
I’m thrilled to be participating in 2025 Texas 4000 for Cancer Team, a fundraiser supporting Texas 4000 for Cancer! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
Here is why I ride:
When I was in seventh grade, I watched my grandpa, Poppy, gradually lose hope in the months after his diagnosis with pancreatic cancer. His deterioration both physically and emotionally stuck with me. As a rider with Texas 4000 for Cancer, I want to spread hope to cancer patients and their families. I also want to help spread awareness on cancer detection and prevention methods. I’ve chosen this organization because it embodies my values of leadership, community engagement, and resilience. I hope my teammates and I will inspire each other to grow and develop as leaders everyday, so we can continue to make a difference in the world even after our time in Texas 4000. Your support will empower groundbreaking cancer research, provide support services, and bring hope to the countless lives affected by cancer. I ride for the possibility of a cancer-free world, and your contribution will make a difference. Thank you for your support on this journey, and please feel free to reach out and share how you or a loved one have been affected by cancer.
Here's how you can help:
- Donate: Contribute whatever you can. No amount is too small!
- Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your friends, family, and social networks. Let’s spread awareness so we can raise more!
Thank you for standing by me in this effort. Your support means the world to me!
To Alaska and back,
Elizabeth
