Hello!! This is Sai Anbuchezhiyan and I want to personally thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page and allowing me to share my story. I am a third-year Human Biology major with a Healthcare Innovation and Reform minor at the University of Texas at Austin. I was born in Chennai, India but have lived in Chicago, Dallas, and now Austin! Off the bike, I play competitive badminton, listen to music (my music taste is all over the place - from J. Cole to A.R. Rahman), and love trying new things (currently learning to play the ukulele).
I’m thrilled to be participating in 2025 Texas 4000 for Cancer Team, a fundraiser supporting Texas 4000 for Cancer! I’m passionate about this cause and need your help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.
Here's Why I Ride:
It’s remarkable how the trespassing of a single word into our daily vocabulary can signify the lives of many being struck with tragedy. Cancer. I’ve had the misfortune of witnessing how a cancer diagnosis breaks a family, an identity, dreams, and comforts. I’ve also had the privilege of witnessing how cancer fails to become one’s identity, and how people prove to themselves, and the world that their story is not defined by their diagnosis. That's why I ride. For hope.
I want to personally make a difference in the fight against cancer, no matter how small. That is why I chose Texas 4000 for Cancer. The mission of cultivating student leaders and engaging communities in the fight against cancer aligns perfectly with my aspirations for impact and personal growth.
Having your support will help fuel tangible change in the fight against cancer. We can help fund vital research and support services, offering hope, healing, knowledge, and charity to those affected by this disease. Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey. Your contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant difference.
Let's pedal towards a future free from cancer.
To Alaska and back,
Sai Anbuchezhiyan
