Losing my great aunt to cancer was unforgettably heartbreaking and shocking. But my family's resilience in response taught me how to transform pain into a source of inspiration; cancer impacts everyone around it, but our collective devotion to hearten and inspire one another is vital to honoring the lives we lose. I ride with Texas 4000 for Cancer to uplift and fight for all those impacted by cancer alongside my fellow student leaders. Furthermore, as my grandma quit smoking to prevent another potential family anguish, I believe my ride may support my mom's strength to quit, too. I consider humanity's greatest strength to be the love and lessons we share. I hope to reap and diffuse that message in every community I encounter from here on. I would appreciate any contributions to my fundraising efforts, which support both this journey and the success of cancer research + support services! Thank you!
