I'm skating to help make a Dream Come True - and I need your help!

The Dream Factory is so important for kids across Manitoba who are battling life-threatening illnesses. These kids desperately need a break from the routine of hospitals, medical treatments, and the very adult challenges that come along with their illness.

How incredible would it be to be able to make a dream come true for a child that could really use an extra boost of hope?

These are kids like me, Noah, fighting chronic kidney disease.

As mom says, 2020 has been a challenging year for Noah. Some good, some not so good times. February started with a trip to the emergency department for an 8-day stay which included antibiotics for blood poisoning and finally to be discharged into a world in chaos and a pandemic. Schools became the dining room table and we started what felt like a revolving door at Children's Hospital CK5 and the emergency department. 5, 6, 7 weeks all just seemed to blend into one very long stay with countless tests, tubes, and surgeries, etc.  Noah's 15th birthday included some lego and two different happy birthday's sung by the day and night nurse shifts and enough ice cream cake to go around. We were also able to do some really assume stuff which included a puck drop at a Winnipeg Ice hockey game that included Peyton Krebs who played on Team Canada at the World Juniors 20/21. It all finally led to a major 4hr surgery and an eventual discharge and a return to constant bloodwork and a few more tests than normal.

My dream was to go to Disney World but after this past year and the unknown of the pandemic, I have decided to rethink my dream and with your support, it will come true.
