About the Phoenix Pentathlon
As part of our celebration of World Autism Month, we hold the Phoenix Pentathlon every April to raise funds for Temple Grandin School and selected nonprofits. In the Pentathlon, student-led teams compete in wacky challenges of their own invention in an event that encourages collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving.
Our team's nonprofit partner: Casting for Recovery
Team "What Do you Meme?" is proud to donate 10% of our funds raised to Casting for Recovery. Casting for Recovery provides healing outdoor retreats for women with breast cancer, at no cost to the participants. These retreats offer opportunities for women to find inspiration, discover renewed energy for life, and experience healing connections with other women and nature.
