About Temple Grandin School

Temple Grandin School (TGS) is an independent school in Boulder, CO dedicated to serving the unique needs of neurodivergent learners in grades 6-12.

About the Phoenix Pentathlon

As part of our celebration of World Autism Month, we hold the Phoenix Pentathlon every April to raise funds for Temple Grandin School and selected nonprofits. In the Pentathlon, student-led teams compete in wacky challenges of their own invention in an event that encourages collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. 

Our team's nonprofit partner: ISAAC of Northern Colorado

Team "Nerd Birds" is proud to donate 10% of our funds raised to ISAAC of Northern Colorado. ISAAC (The Interfaith Solidarity and Accompaniment Coalition) uses education, advocacy, direct accompaniment, and community empowerment to work toward a community of welcome, healing, accompaniment and empowerment for all community members, no matter what language or immigration status.
