The Big Diaper Drive is a community-powered event where businesses, individuals, groups, schools and places of worship come together to collect thousands of diapers for families in Central Virginia. 

Without access to diapers

• Babies are at risk of rashes and infection.
• Parents miss work when they can't send kids to daycare without diapers.
• Children fall behind their peers when they miss daycare.
• The stress of diaper need can lead to abuse.

Together, we can solve a basic human need.

• Diapers can cost up to $100 a month, placing a significant burden on low-income families.
• Babies need 10-15 diapers a day, and government assistance doesn’t cover them. This forces families to choose between buying food or diapers, impacting their well-being and adding unnecessary strain to their daily lives.
• Access to diapers changes everything. It means better health, income, and education outcomes—especially for women and children.
