We are enthusiastic members of Circle K International from Virginia Commonwealth University! Our mission is to improve the welfare of the world and local communities through active engagements in community service and fundraising efforts. Just last semester alone, our members have dedicated nearly 700 service hours. Our main fundraising focus has been the Eliminate Project for the last few years!
The Eliminate Project is an initiative started by UNICEF to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus in developing nations by providing much needed tetanus shots to mothers and infants. My club last semester was able to fundraise enough money to provide 450 mothers/infants with tetanus shots, and we would like to continue this effort since tetanus is still plaguing 18 countries today! Only $1.80 can provide a mother and her future babies with the vaccination. This means that:
You can SAVE 1000 pairs of mothers and their future babies' lives with just $1,800!
You have the opportunities to provide countless babies with a good life, and many of them will grow up to become world leaders one day and change the world!
Please help us in our efforts to terminate tetanus! Any amount of donation is greatly appreciated. You are more than welcome to share this fundraising link to friends and family members :)
