Amber Lynn is the host of Living East Tennessee, a lifestyle show on WATE ABC News 6! She is originally from Mount Juliet, Tenn., and is an avid traveler and sports fan, particularly of the Tennessee Volunteers! She is a graduate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is a Certified Life Counselor. She began her career in sports broadcasting, covering sports throughout the southeastern United States, and has years of experience as an anchor and field reporter. Amber is a recipient of the 40 Under 40 Award as a University of Tennessee Alumni and most recently partnered with Ridgeview Behavioral Health to be honored with the Media Award from the Tennessee Association of Mental Health Organizations. Amber is the founder of a nonprofit focused on suicide prevention and mental health awareness called We Are Team Jake and has served on the board of several nonprofits.
