The Hartford Bowl-a-Thon
Junior Achievement 2016 Bowl-a-Thon
Enjoy a fun afternoon out with your colleagues at Junior Achievement’s annual Bowl-a-Thon. Join or support a team and help provide educational programs that empower Connecticut students to succeed!
Junior Achievement (JA) is a non-profit organization providing volunteer-based programs to help students in Kindergarten through High School understand the world of business and personal finance - concepts that will help them become financially responsible and prepared for the workforce. These programs are provided free to over 37,000 Connecticut students each school year thanks to program and volunteer support from The Hartford and fundraising efforts like the Bowl-a-Thon.
The Hartford and its employees have been supporting JA for more than a decade and with your help you and your teammates can reach more than 1,200 students this year through this event.
Each bowler is encouraged to rally support from friends, family and colleagues to meet our goal.
- $50 supports a student and last year your individual fundraising on average supported two or more!
- Recruit employees to volunteer for current JA programs funded by The Hartford (four hours of volunteer time is valued at more than $90).
Last year we had 555 bowlers participate in the Bowl-a-Thon from The Hartford helping to raise more than $75,000. With your support we can make this year’s event an even greater success! Please consider signing up as a Team Captain and recruiting 5-6 bowlers or join an existing team.
Teams can register for one of three sessions:

See you at the alley!
