Online Silent Auction

How do I participate in the online auction?
First, you must register for the event in order to participate.
 
You can download the Givi App now and start browsing the items (Apple & Google Play). We are still uploading items so keep checking back!
  1. Once you’ve registered, you’ll see a button to Start Bidding Now on the confirmation page to set up your auction account and bid on items
  2. You’ll also receive an email of your auction ticket with a link to enter the auction. Look for an email with a subject line that includes, “Your The Lift Garage Fall Fundraiser 2022 Ticket.” The body of the email will also include a Start Bidding Now link.  Clicking the Start Bidding Now link in the email or on the registration confirmation page will take you to a page where you can set up your account.
  3. You can edit your registration details if you want. Then click Set Up Account to Bid
  4. You’ll be prompted to enter a new password. Then click Create My Password
  5. If you checked the box to Save payment for future use during registration, you won’t need to add a payment method when you enter the auction. 
  6. If you didn’t check the box, you’ll be prompted to add a Payment Method. You can skip this step and add a payment method later, but you won't be able to bid on items until you've added one.
  7. For a smooth Auction experience we recommend that you enter one now 
Once your account is set up and login is complete, you’ll be automatically redirected to the Auction Items page.  
 
The other major area you’ll want to familiarize yourself with is the My Activity page. You can access this page by clicking your name in the upper right corner of the screen after you log in.  
 
From this page, you can:
  • View your bidding and purchase activity
  • Pay your balance
  • Add or change your payment method
  • Review your Ticket Details
  • Log out of your auction account
  • When you’re ready to browse items, return to the Auction Items page.  
The auction will be live on Friday, September 16th at 9:00 AM CST until Monday, September 19th at 7:30 PM CST. Many items will be local for those in Minneapolis/St. Paul area, but there are also options for those of you outside of the Twin Cities! You can search the "tags" to find the items that are "Local only" or "Bid from anywhere!" Those without a specific tag are up to you! 

Auction Item Pick Up

Auction item pick-up times:

  1. At the close of the event on Monday, September 19th after 7:30 pm.
  2. Tuesday, September 20th, 5-7pm
  3. Wednesday, September 21st, 5-7pm

In the Registration Confirmation email, there will be more information on how to pick up items.

How to Register a Guest!

- Select as many tickets as you need

- Add your information for the purchase

- A ticket will be assigned to you; the remaining are for your guests

- Click "Invite Guest" and add your guest's name and email address

- A ticket will be sent to their email address 

- Event and Auction information will be sent following registration. 

COVID-19 Guidelines

We need your help keeping this event safe from COVID:
1. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID, if you have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, or if you have tested positive, in the past 10 days: Please cancel your registration. You may cancel at any time and we will gladly refund you the cost of the ticket. You're welcome to still participate in the silent auction! 
2. Masks are not required but encouraged
3. Arbeiter Brewery has lovely garage doors that they will leave open the entire event (weather depending), this will allow free-flowing air throughout their space. You're also welcome to stay outside during the entire event as there is an outdoor patio (covered but not waterproof). 
4. While we are committed to having an in-person event the policies around covid precautions may change between now and the start of the event.
