On August 22^nd, we are participating in The Sweat Shop’s Spin-A-Thon for Youth Homes! This event will benefit the Missoula teens in care at the Shirley Miller Attention Home, an emergency shelter that serves more than 100 local youth each year who are in immediate crisis. Over the course of the Shelter’s 44 year history, it has built a reputation as a safe haven for Missoula’s most vulnerable youth. It provides for their most basic needs of food, shelter, and medical attention. But it is also a key component in Youth Homes’ mission of helping every child feel safe, have a sense of belonging, and find a place to call home.
