The Well

The Well provides programs, practices and connection at the intersection of arts and wellness. Mindful Poetry Moments was incubated with The On Being Project in 2019 to offer students and adults a chance to pause and reflect on poetry’s ability to encounter ourselves, the world, and the mystery of each other during National Poetry Month. The program has grown to serve people of all ages around the world and has produced three volumes of poems, thanks to the support of individuals and our organization partners The Hive, WordPlay and the Mercantile Library.

"Haleh Liza Gafori’s translations of Rumi are exquisite. Gorgeous, fluent, faithful translations, rendering Rumi’s voice on the page with an original integrity that is as skilled as it is unforgettable.
