I can’t always remember how I get myself into these things—I’m easily drawn to a challenge—but I’m proud to be part of this one. Raising money for Damon Runyon is as close to my heart as it could be. Being confronted with the impact of cancer early in my life, I am deeply aware of the need for better options for patients. As faculty at Dana-Farber, Damon Runyon played a pivotal role in my career and has been essential in putting me in a position to make a difference. I am raising money because I believe Damon Runyon is a unique organization focussed on identifying the next generation and supporting them at the most important times.

I am looking forward to taking on this challenge and am convinced that in addition to the money raised, the connections build will make an impact.
