I was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting MS in June of 2018.  Since then, I've been blessed to meet, talk with, and be inspired by others who have been where I am right now.  One of the people I met is going through the Tisch MS Research Center's Stem Cell Phase 2 trial, and after reading of the success that Phase 1 had, I felt compelled to get involved.  The Research being done at Tisch could be a major game-changer for someone who is afflicted with MS or any demylieniating disease.

I will be running in the Monumental Half Marathon in Indianapolis, IN on November 9th.  Fatigue can sometimes be an issue for me, so while it will definitely be a challenge, I'm excited for the opportunity to get out there and test my limits.  I'm also grateful to be raising funds for an organization whose goal is to not only find what causes MS in individuals, but also innovative and permanent solutions for those afflicted with the disease.
