This holiday season, give a TOAST TO TUTORS through a donation to Oasis. Help us celebrate our tutors as they prepare to return in-person in schools across St. Louis once again. Your donation helps us train new and existing tutors and place them in school districts that need our support now more than ever. 

Did you know that each tutor provides over 50 hours of service each year? With volunteer time valued at $25.96 an hour, if we engage 1,000 tutors this year, that’s $1.2M+ WORTH OF SERVICE to the St. Louis community! COVID-19 has caused struggling students to become even further behind, with many not engaged or thriving during the pandemic. Oasis is meeting a critical community need to get students back on track with their reading skills, and we ask you to partner with us so students can receive the much-needed mentorship and literacy support from Oasis Tutors. Reading scores collected from a sample of tutored students in previous years show 98% WHO COMPLETED A YEAR OF TUTORING SHOWED IMPROVED READING SCORES! 

Donations will help purchase supplies, materials, and books for students, as well as help cover costs of training new tutors (approximately $80 per tutor). 

For the first $20,000 raised, donations will be matched dollar for dollar by two generous donors, meaning that your gift is doubled!
