Together Housed

The Downtown Women’s Center is on the front lines protecting at-risk women who are experiencing homelessness as our community faces new challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, Dinner with a Cause, our annual gala, raised over $900,000 to help women move out of homelessness. This year, we are shifting gears and launching Together Housed, a three-week campaign to raise much needed funds to support women experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our community is encouraged to donate directly or raise funds for DWC. On this site, you can set up your own fundraising page and encourage your family, friends, and colleagues to support our campaign throughout the month of September. You can register to raise funds as an individual or as part of a Team.

With your help, we can meet the increased demand for the critical services we provide daily such as meals, hygiene, and mental health services, while continuing to connect women with permanent housing and employment.

This week, we’ll highlight how DWC’s health and wellness programs continue to support women by providing essential day-to-day resources and services during this challenging time.

We'll encourage our community to begin setting up their fundraising pages to contribute to the campaign!

For the campaign’s last week, we’ll highlight how DWC’s housing programs are continuing to get women housed in the midst of the pandemic and providing safe emergency spaces for women to shelter-in-place.
