Together we can help end women's homelessness.

Before the pandemic hit Los Angeles, I used to spend Saturday mornings volunteering in the Downtown Women's Center's kitchen, helping serve breakfast to the women of LA. This place is deeply special to me. The staff here are some of the most passionate, hard-working people I have ever met, and the Center's mission is truly inspiring.

One in three people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles are women,  and the Downtown Women's Center is continuing their work to get women out of homelessness amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women. DWC envisions a Los Angeles with every woman housed and on a path to personal stability. Founded in 1978, DWC was the first permanent supportive housing provider for women in the U.S. Learn more at www.DowntownWomensCenter.org.

I hope you'll consider donating, or passing along the message to help raise awareness if you can.
