Together we can help end women's homelessness
One in three people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles are women. Help me raise funds for the Downtown Women's Center this month as they continue getting women out of homelessness amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2018, I started volunteering at DWC in the residence and quickly saw the impact the organization makes. A safe haven for women that is inclusive, respectful and empowering, DWC is a critical resource in the Downtown Los Angeles area. The women I met inspired me to join the Leadership Council last year, to advocate and fundraise for this incredible work.
The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women. DWC envisions a Los Angeles with every woman housed and on a path to personal stability.
