Together we can help end women's homelessness!
As someone who has lived in Los Angeles for the past 7 years, I wanted to find a way to help this community and that was when I discovered Downtown Women's Center. I felt very connected to this organzation as I learned more about the ways they have helped the women experiencing homelessnes in Los Angeles. They have continued to step-up during these tough times including providing an average 800 meals per day for the first 6 months of 2020. I'm currently at home due to medical reasons but this campaign is my way of helping DWC to keep providing the support for the women experiencing homelessness at this time. DWC envisions a Los Angeles with every woman housed and on a path to personal stability. Founded in 1978, DWC was the first permanent supportive housing provider for women in the U.S.
