Matern Law Group Supporting DWC's Together Housed Campaign

One in three people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles are women.  The Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) is the only organization in Los Angeles focused exclusively on serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women.  DWC envisions a Los Angeles with every woman housed and on a path to personal stability. Founded in 1978, DWC was the first permanent supportive housing provider for women in the U.S.  Help us, Matern Law Group, PC, raise funds for the Downtown Women's Center this month as they strive to end homelessness for women in Los Angeles amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.   We hope that you will join us and donate what you can to help us meet our target goal.    

Through our experiences volunteering at DWC we have seen first hand the commitment and hard work demonstrated by the DWC staff and executives in their fight to meet the needs of a growing population of homeless women in our city.  You can rest assured that the money you donate will help countless women facing homelessness in our city. 

We know 2020 is a challenging year -- boy do we know it -- and that it may be more difficult to donate than in other years.  We understand that everyone is struggling.  But know that any amount you can afford will be appreciated and will go to help alleviate the struggles of others less fortunate.  Thank you all so much for your consideration, and please stay safe and sane!
