On August 13, 2020 my son David Timothy was born two months early, weighing in at a grand 3 lb, 2 oz! Although a little guy, he is a resilent one and is growing and getting the best treatment at the NICU right now at Edwards Hospital in Naperville.

In lieu of a baby shower for David, I'm asking friends and family to support a cause that is very important to me. New Moms is an organization in my community that supports young moms by helping them improve their economic mobility and escape cycles of poverty and violence. New Moms supports with job training, housing assistance, child development, and more. Empowering young women in our community is one of the best ways to improve the conditions of the entire community.
