Hi! My name is Latoya Tatum Bynoe. I am a wife and mother of an adorable 5 yr old. I was introduced to New Moms several years ago from a neighbor doing a donation drive and then by a friend who was on the Board of Directors and I thought it was such a great organization. As I learned more about the organization, I knew I wanted to be more involved. I joined the Board of Directors in 2019.

Many have heard the term "It Takes a Village", but  I did not truly understand how true it was until I became a mother. I was very lucky, I had tons of support from friends and family, two awesome parents and a very supportive husband. Even with all of these resources, being a parent is HARD.

I could only imagine how young moms, some who may have experienced homelessness or abuse or just were never given the opportunities I had were able to make it all work. These moms want the best for their family, just like I do and deserve all the love and support we can give. This is what New Moms does for so many moms.
