As many of you know, I am a board member for a very special organization in Chicago, New Moms. They exist to interrupt the cycle of poverty and create strong families. Their mission is to surround young moms and their children with everything they need to transform their lives, specifically focusing on housing, jobs, and family services.

Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, New Moms has set an ambitious fundraising goal of $250,000, and with your help, we can achieve it. This is an organization working tirelessly to provide basic resources we take for granted to young mothers, along with the resources and skills that are so critical to independence and family stability.

I’m participating in Together We Thrive 2020 to raise money for New Moms and would love your support and any amount helps.  Would you be willing to donate and help me reach my fundraising goal? Your donation will make a real difference in the lives of the moms and children at New Moms.

• $25 can support diapers and formula for 1 family for a week.
• $55 can support 1 night of housing for a young mom and her child.
• $115 can support 1 month of one month of unlimited transportation for a participant, removing barriers for her to travel to our Job Training program and access childcare for her family.
• $450 can fund a baby shower for our prenatal support group moms-to-be!
