This past summer for my MBA internship, I had the priviledge of working with New Moms and their social enterprise, Bright Endeavors. As a REDF Farber Fellow, I had the joy of learning about New Mom's work in the South and West side communities of Chicago. New Moms has been helping young families pursue safe and stable homes, economic mobility, and whole family wellness for 37 years. 

From our CEO Laura, "We are facing one of the most serious global crises of our time, which has exposed the long-standing systemic racism that has impacted New Moms' families for generations. While this storm could threaten the foundations our young moms seek to build for their families, together we can provide cover so they can continue to tap into their potential and increase their economic mobility and wellbeing. When we invest our time, skills, and resources into this important work, our families and communities heal and grow – we all thrive."

While New Moms decided to cancel the 2020 New Moms Gala, in response to COVID-19. Please join me in this online opportunity to fundraise for this incredible community organization. With our help, young moms and children (two generations of youth) can continue to tap into their potential to accomplish their dreams for a thriving future.
