Chef Richard Hoert, Terrie Lobb Catering, Inc.
Richard received his formal training from The Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York. His professional experience then began as a Sous Chef for the Best Western Inn and Conference Center, Poughkeepsie, New York. He later moved to Florida, accepting the Sous Chef position at Disney's Grosvenor Resort. In 2010, Richard was hired as the Banquet Chef for the Lakeland Yacht and Country Club. Subsequently, he was offered the Executive Chef Position at Mystic Dunes Golf Club in Kissimmee. As his career positions advanced he gained invaluable knowledge in fine dining, and kitchen management; serving thousands of guests including celebrities, and working as a chef in a Five Star Hotel. Chef Richard is a great asset to Terrie Lobb Catering. He brings menu creativity and the commitment to best practices in the industry. Chef Richard is excited to represent Terrie Lobb Catering in this year's Top Chef Event. He wishes everyone the best in making this another extraordinary fundraising event for Achievement Academy.
Community Leader Adam Riley, Ewing, Blackwelder & Duce Insurance
Adam Riley is a resident of Bartow, Florida where he lives with his wife and two daughters. Adam was a college athlete and attended Webber International University in Babson Park, FL. He attended Webber on a football scholarship and played the duration of his college career. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration Marketing.
Adam began his insurance career at GEICO in 2012 where he had great success as an agent. He quickly made his mark at GEICO being ranked in the top 2% of the company in sales for 3 consecutive years. Adam made the switch to the independent insurance world in 2018 to grow as an agent. He desired an opportunity that would build sustaining relationships with clients by offering multiple lines of insurance and working with clients on a personal level. In 2018, Adam joined Ewing, Blackwelder & Duce Insurance as an independent agent. He now has the ability to help clients all over the state of Florida with a wide range of insurance needs including Homeowners, Auto, Life, and Business Insurance.
Adam is honored to represent Ewing, Blackwelder & Duce Insurance in this year's Top Chef Event. He is humbled by the opportunity to help raise funds for such an amazing organization.
