Chef Matt Oakley, Crave & Copper
Matt Oakley is the Chef/Operating Partner for Crave & Copper Restaurant and Microbrewery located in Auburndale, FL.
Chef Oakley was born and raised in Northern Virginia and began working in restaurants at the age of 14. For the past 25 years, his culinary career path has taken him up and down the East Coast, ranging from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Nantucket, MA.
Prior to his current venture, he was the Executive Chef for Tommy Bahama Restaurant in Orlando and Chef/Owner of Carpe Cibus Food Truck
Some of Chef Oakley’s accolades include catering for the former CEO of General Electric, Jack Welch, famed fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, musician Jimmy Buffet and Senator John Kerry. He was on the R&D team for Tommy Bahama, helping to write recipes for their nationally sold cookbooks and developing menu items for their 16 restaurants nationwide.
Chef Oakley and Crave & Copper’s mission is to provide a community destination with exceptional food and beverage through passion and purpose in every detail of the guest experience.
Stacey Oakley
Stacey Oakley is a resident of Auburndale, FL where she lives and works for The Florida Brewery as their CFO since 2014. Stacey and her husband Matt Oakley met in Nantucket, MA where they both shared a love for food and hospitality. Stacey has a passion for business and a love for people which has helped bring Crave & Copper from a dream to reality.
Stacey and Matt Oakley have two daughters, Audrey and Bella. When Stacey is not working, she enjoys outdoor activities, trying new restaurants and watching the Buffalo Bills win! (Stacey is native to Buffalo, NY)
Julie Williams
Julie Williams is native to Polk County. With a degree in accounting from Florida Southern College and a practicing CPA for several years, she found herself becoming a beer boss in a male-dominated industry. With The Florida Brewery since 2007, she currently serves as their Chief Operating Officer. Julie has a passion for design and bringing joy to people which gave her the unique opportunity to create a fun-loving atmosphere to Crave and Copper.
